Privacy Policy

Summary

Your privacy, simply put: ParkScout doesn't know who you are. There's no account, no login, and no personal data collected. Your favourites and history live only on your device. Location is used on-device to find nearby car parks — it's never stored or sent anywhere. The only data that leaves your phone is anonymous crash reports to help keep the app stable. We don't sell data, we don't track you, and deleting the app removes everything.

Used only to show nearby car parks on the map. Processed on-device and never stored or transmitted

• Payment or financial information
• Device identifiers

Location data

Used on-device only to display nearby Park&Ride car parks on the map. Not stored, not shared, not transmitted.

Analytics and crash reporting

Anonymous and aggregated only. No personally identifiable information is included. Used solely to improve app stability and usability.

Third-party services

• Transport for NSW (parking availability data)
• Apple Maps (directions, user-initiated)
• Google Maps (directions, user-initiated, if installed)

Data retention

Favourites, history, and preferences are stored locally on your device for as long as the app is installed.

Data deletion and requests

All locally stored data (favourites, history, preferences) is permanently deleted when you uninstall ParkScout. No account deletion is required as no account is created.
