Does audio keep playing when I lock my screen?
Yes. BeepLab uses iOS background audio mode so beeps continue accurately even with the screen locked or when switching to another app. This is a core reason it was built.
Which beep test protocols are included?
Three — Australian Standard 20m (8.0 km/h start), Léger International 20m (8.5 km/h start, the original 1988 protocol), and 15m Indoor for gyms and sports halls.
How accurate is the AR course measurement?
The AR tool uses ARKit world tracking to measure horizontal ground distance as you walk. It's accurate enough for training and general testing. For formally accredited testing, verify with a tape measure.
How many athletes can I test at once?
Up to 10 athletes simultaneously. You tap each athlete out as they drop and their final level and shuttle is recorded automatically.
Does the app work offline?
Completely. BeepLab has no server component - everything runs on device. No account, no internet connection required.
